Jamie is sat on the steps outside of gores small apartment, scribbling away in a notebook. It'd hear some footsteps walking towards them, a feeling of discomfort growing. It took in a deep breath, and looked towards the noise in annoyance. There's nothing there! 🙂 Oh. Wow. Okay. They blink, shaking its head before going back to scribbling. Gore would hear the same footsteps, coming from the other side this time! Jamie furrows their eyebrows, and looks up once again. What the fuck is going on? Back from the original side, a voice rings out. Like. Very close to Jamie.
"Hi!" There's a woman crouching next to Jamie, smiling unnaturally wide.
Jamie flinches, almost falling off the side of the stairs. Wow. Okay. "Uh- Fuckin'- Hello?"
"I was wondering if you'd be interested in a LARP / ARG type thing I'm putting together for anyone interested!" She speaks with some really unsettling enthusiasm!
Gore thinks for a moment, before tilting it's head. "Well. What's it about?"
"It's about a hidden cult in the town, and you and your peers have to uncover the mysteries surrounding it!" She keeps still basically the whole time she speaks
They take in a breath, but nod. "Sure. How do I join?"
Lucille hands it a pamphlet, flipped to the back page. "There's a discord server! Just show up at the meetings and you're in!"
Jamie slowly nods, taking the pamphlet, putting it quickly down. "Okay. Thanks. Are the meetings gonna be at a certain time, or will it say?"
"It'll say," she grins, tilting her head slightly.
It does that white person fake smile, and glances down at the paper. "Okay. Thank you very much. And, your name?"
"Lucy! Yours?"
"Jamie."
"Good to know! Do you have any questions, comments, or concerns?"
"Not. Really? I'll check it out."
"Alright! That'll be all then!" Lucille walks off.
Jamie kinda waves, and looks down at the pamphlet, skimming through it till they got to the discord link. Hm. Gore types the link into their phone, and joins the server.
