Kiera is curled up in bed, playing on its phone nonchalantly. Lucille sits close to them, staring out the window at the full moon in the sky. "Do you know what's special about full moons, Kiera?"

Kiera looks up. "No, what makes them special?"

"On full moons," Lucille gets out of bed, walking towards the window before turning around. Only her silhouette is visible from the light of the moon. "People like myself are at our most powerful. New moons can also have similar effects, though seemingly more aggressive."

Kiera blushes. "What are people like yourself like?"

"You remember the meeting, right?" she smiles, slinking back into bed and laying close to Kiera, "Like that. People that most would consider... unnatural. Gods, goddesses, demons, angels, hounds... The Moon has some sort of effect on us. Or, at least, it's rumored to. It may not be true for all of us. The Moon... it just does something every time."

Kiera nods, leaning in close. "I see..." She cuddles Lucille. "Im glad you found me.."

"I'm glad I found you, too." Lucille smiles, ruffling Kiera's hair.

"Im not... used to this... used to being..." She pauses. "Feeling loved."

"I know that feeling. It'll all be okay, I'm here for you now. I'll never leave."

Kiera blushes, hugging her. "I lived in a basement for most of my life... Barely left it until CPS came when i was 15." She tells her, looking away from her nervously

"I'm sorry about that.. you'll never have to do that again"

"Thank you..." She hugs her. "I know im not... Im not as smart as other people who went to school and stuff... But im trying..."

"You're doing so good, you're doing amazing," Lucille hugs back, petting her gently

Kiera clearly enjoys it. "Thank you... youre so amazing..."

"You are too," Lucille says, smiling
